Introduction
Tokyo Tower is one of Tokyo's best known landmarks. Modeled after the Eiffel Tower, Tokyo Tower stands at 333 meters tall, 13 meters taller than Eiffel. Tokyo Tower is one of the tallest structures in Japan.
The primary function of Tokyo Tower is as a broadcast tower for TV and radio stations for the Tokyo area.
As a tourist attraction, Tokyo Tower has two observation decks. The main observatory's height is 150 meters, the special observatory's altitude is 250 meters. The surrounding area is devoid high rises, so the tower offers great view over the city. On a clear day, visitors can even see Yokohama or Mount Fuji.
