The Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building is the tallest building in Tokyo and is the home of the city government. The building stands 243 meters tall with 48 floors.
The observation decks on the 45th floor at the height of 202 meters on both north and south towers are free and open to all visitors.

Access
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building is situated west of the JR Shinjuku Station. From the station west exit, walk towards the rotary and enter the underground pedestrian passageway. Follow the passageway west for about 500 meters until you see the signs for Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building.
